As part of NASA’s L’SPACE NPWEE program, our team developed TOUCH, a proposal for a tactile glove that allows astronauts to feel their environment during extravehicular activities. The project integrates magnetic skin sensors, piezoelectrics, and machine learning to synthesize tactile images in real time.

Project Objective 

Develop a tactile feedback system that translates physical interactions into sensory data astronauts can perceive through a haptic glove: improving dexterity, safety, and sensory awareness in space environments.

My Role

Collaborated on proposal writing, work plan structuring, and system modeling for the glove’s electrical and mechanical subsystems. Contributed to the risk analysis, budget projection, and visual design of the final submission to NASA reviewers.
