Designed a VEX Robotics poster that gained widespread visibility across campus and the Fort Worth district, attracting middle school students, new participants, and sponsors to our program.

Overview

As Co-Captain of VEX Robotics Team 17505B and a STEM advocate, I have combined technical leadership with community engagement to promote engineering and robotics among underrepresented groups. I have led engineering projects, coordinated workshops, and created educational content to inspire the next generation of STEM students.

Key Contributions

Robot Design & Documentation: Oversaw building and programming iterations, maintained detailed engineering notebook for clarity and strategy.
Community Outreach: Designed and coordinated the first-ever STEM workshop at my high school, presented at events like the Google Robotics Workshop and I.M. Terrell Robotics Workshop, and shared experiences as a public speaker.
Graphic Design & Content Creation: Produced visuals, social media posts, and videos to promote STEM engagement and increase participation in robotics programs.
Mentorship & Advocacy: Guided younger students through hands-on engineering projects, emphasizing problem-solving, teamwork, and creativity.

Impact & Recognition

Qualified for VEX World Championship, setting a new legacy for the district.
Inspired hundreds of students through workshops, presentations, and mentoring initiatives.
